Chemical Blender/Mixer - ChemRite

ChemRite CoPac is looking for a Chemical Blending Technician to be responsible for the safe and accurate batching, blending, documentation, and transfer of raw materials and finished bulk in support of production schedules. This role is critical to ensure right-first-time batch execution, regulatory compliance (cGMP), product quality, and on-time line service. ChemRite CoPac partners with customers to manufacture high-quality liquid products across a variety of package types while maintaining strict adherence to FDA, GMP, and customer-specific quality requirements.

This position operates in a hands-on manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to procedures, strong attention to detail, and ownership of safety and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Batching & Blending Operations
  • Execute batch tickets and blend instructions accurately and completely
  • Select, verify, weigh, and charge raw materials into mixing vessels
  • Monitor and control process parameters (time, temperature, agitation)
  • Transfer completed batches to holding tanks or production lines following release protocols
  • Verify equipment status, cleanliness, and readiness prior to use (line/tank clearance)
  • Identify, escalate, and document deviations or abnormalities
  • Support changeovers and ensure proper cleaning to prevent cross-contamination

Material Handling & Inventory Control

  • Safely unload raw materials from tanker trucks and bulk deliveries
  • Operate forklifts, pumps, scales, and mixing equipment
  • Weigh, label, and return unused materials to storage locations
  • Maintain accurate counts of containers and materials
  • Reconcile material usage and report discrepancies
Quality & Documentation (cGMP / GDP)
  • Complete batch records and logbooks accurately and in real time
  • Record lot numbers, weights, and process data for traceability
  • Take product samples and support testing adjustments
  • Ensure documentation meets GDP and audit standards
  • Maintain inspection-ready documentation and work areas
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow OSHA and company safety policies
  • Wear required PPE including respirators and gloves
  • Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
  • Exercise stop-work authority for unsafe conditions
Minimum Qualifications
  • 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or related experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic math skills (decimals, percentages)
  • Ability to follow written procedures (Proficient English: reading, writing, speaking)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Forklift experience preferred

Schedule & Work Expectations

Full-time position; may require overtime, weekends, and schedule flexibility based on production needs.
